TED JOSEPH
C.E.O.

Ted Joseph is one of the nations most respected and experienced music business professionals.

Throughout his multi-faceted career, including over 20 years with Warner Bros. Records (Senior VP of Marketing) and Warner Distribution and many more as a consultant for Sony Music, EMI/Capitol, BMG Distribution, Sony Distribution, Universal Distribution and Warner Music Group, Ted has contributed to and been associated with over 100 gold and platinum status recordings for artists in a wide range of genres, from pop and urban to contemporary jazz and country.

Along with Warner Bros., Ted’s long track record of success includes President of Odds On Records, an independent label in the late 2000’s that helped ‘80s pop duo Air Supply score their first Billboard hit since 1993 and broke other artists like the electronic dance group, Ultraviolet Sound (UVS), featuring singer/songwriter Sarah Hudson.

Roger is an attorney in practice for over 22 years; he specializes in Entertainment and Music law; with an emphasis on representing the talent. He heads Excelsior Law, one of the most respected boutique entertainment law firms in Beverly Hills. The firm focuses on representing talent, from newcomers to the industry to international celebrities, in all aspects of their legal lives. Roger has long offered the talent a full service array of legal services, ranging from negotiating Music, film and television deals, crafting start up entertainment ventures, and litigation to enforce their rights.

It is in after a long exposure to the industry that Roger founded BROADSCOPE, in order to offer artists and music investors to the opportunity to bring music to market with maximum competence and without the fear of being swindled. Roger’s unique experience is especially helpful to protect the rights of artists and music investors, and preventing problems before they arise.

JESUS GARBER

Jesus is one of the nations most experienced and successful music promotion professionals.

His accomplishments, spanning over decades in the business, include the successful global promotion of an astounding number of top hits; here are some examples:

As former Vice President of urban promotions for Hollywood Records (a Walt Disney company), Jesus took Vanessa Williams‘ single from the Pocahontas sound track to top 10 urban AC, over 5 million units sold, Hi-Five’s single from SISTER ACT II soundtrack to #1 (the company’s first urban success), also over 500,000 units sold and Zhane’s SHAME from A LOW DOWN DIRTYSHAME sound track to top 5, with over 500,000 units sold.

As former Vice President of R&B promotions at Zoo Entertainment, Jesus created and managed the R&B department, which established the company’s first urban success of Phyllis Hyman. Jesus took her 1st single to #1, 2nd single to #3, 3rd single to #10, all in Billboard, with over 500,000 units sold.

As former Vice President of A&M Records, (a Herb Alpert & Jerry Moss company) Jesus supervised a large staff responsible for Janet Jackson moving from R&B style to mass appeal and thus attaining her popularity. CONTROL and RHYTHM NATION were both multi-platinum selling albums, each reaching over ten million units sold. Following this, she rose to be the most important artist on the label.

Jesus was also responsible for Jeffrey Osborne’s 1st #1 single in Billboard, SHE’S ON THE LEFT, Shanice Wilson’s 1st #1, NO HALF STEPPING , Herb Alpert’s 1st #1 R&B single, KEEP YOUR EYE ON ME, Vesta Williams‘ 1st #1, SWEET SWEET LOVE, 2nd single #1, CONGRATULATIONS, (which also was the song that spent the most amount of weeks in the top ten of Billboard for the year of 1989) and Sting’s top ten single on the R&B charts, SET THEM FREE. Jesus also worked with, Barry White, Atlantic Starr, Jessie Johnson and AI Green.

While working at Motown Records (a Berry Gordy company), Jesus developed promotional plans and Contests and traveled with numerous artists on promotional tours including Jermaine Jackson, DeBarge, High Energy, Dazz Band, Rick James, Mary Jane Girls, Stone City Band, Lionel Richie, Commodores, Rockwell, Bobby Nunn, Stevie Wonder, Temptations, Four Tops, Vanity, Smokey Robinson, Teena Marie, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and Sam Harris. These artists sold from 500,000 to 10,000,000 units each.

Bonzai is one of the most respected music producers and recording engineers in the world. Over the course of his 30-year career, his musical talent, astounding skill and renowned mixing style have won him 5 Grammys, dozens of gold and platinum plaques, and the privilege of recording and mixing music for the top echelon of the music industry. Sam is one of the nations most experienced and respected music promotion professionals.

Sam has held Senior Executive positions with several major record labels, including Atlantic (serving under music industry legends Ahmet Ertegun, Jerry Greenberg and Doug Morris), Uni-MCA/Universal and Enigma-Capitol/EMI and also served as a Senior MTV Networks Music Programming Executive.
While Head of MTV Music Programming, he was in charge of all video music programming, consulting network international affiliates and overseeing MTV relations with labels, artist and managers.

He is widely recognized as one of the best national promotions consultant/project directors in the U.S. specializing in developing new artists and emerging record labels as competitive entities with thorough, effective and professionally executed promotional strategies and action plans. He consults with talent in
all contemporary music formats including: Top 40 Pop, Top 40 Rhythm, Hot A/C, Mainstream A/C and Rock.

Sam has worked with the world’s top superstars, including among others, Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, U2, Madonna, Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Phil Collins.
